They provide information, support and assistance to children and their families. Gender-Based Violence Command Centre (GBVCC)

Gender-Based Violence Command Centre (GBVCC) is a 24-hour call centre dedicated to providing support and counseling to victims and perpetrators of gender-based violence. GBVCC is managed by qualified social workers, who provide support and counseling to victims and perpetrators of gender-based violence. The councilors offer services in all South African languages. Calls are routed to the police, as appropriate and quick as possible.

LifeLine Southern Africa

LifeLine Southern Africa is a 24-hour crisis intervention service. “Emotional First Aid station”. They provide free, confidential telephonic and face to face counseling, rape counseling, trauma counseling, AIDS counseling, and a range of others Counsellors help callers with challenges such as trauma, suicide, and relationship issues. National AIDS helpline

National AIDS helpline offers a 24-hour toll-free telephone counseling, information and referral service for people infected with and affected by HIV. The national AIDS helpline is run by LifeLine. AIDS helpline has a specialised treatment line which is manned by professional nurses. The staff of the treatment line provide quality, accurate and anonymous telephone information, education on antiretroviral (ARV), TB and STI treatment. They also provide relevant specialised medical referrals to individuals affected by and infected with HIV and AIDS in South Africa. Calls made to this helpline are free from a landline and a cell phone. Counselling and information is offered in all South African languages.
